Our Donations
Total Amount Raised: £64,768
One of the things that sets the BCP apart is that we donate our profits to local charities and good causes. We keep a working capital and give the rest away.
We liaise with the Barnes Workhouse Trust and the London Borough of Richmond-upon-Thames’ Mayor’s Office where best to place the money.
This year, 2024, we will donate to Crossroads Care UK, which aims to help Alzheimer sufferers and their families both at home and in the community.
Additionally there have been numerous projects which have received our support, both financially and through help from our members, often to improve the infrastructure of the theatres in which we perform. We have for instance bought the theatre chairs for the OSO and donated £500 towards the cost of the raked theatre seating. We continue to support Kitson Hall with regard to their sound equipment and the lighting infrastructure.
